SoPac Trail – Dallas Running Trails

The SoPac trail is a 5.5 mile path that moves through Northeast Dallas. The trail passes the Vickery Meadow and Lakewood neighborhoods and ends at White Rock Lake.

This route covers 2.5 miles of the trail, running to one point and back. If you want to run further, use SoPac to connect to other trails, including the White Rock Lake Trail.

  1. Start at Ridgewood Park
  2. Move onto the Ridgewood Trail heading east.
  3. Merge onto SoPac
  4. Head south on SoPac for 2.5 miles
  5. Head back to your starting point

The Run

Start your run at Ridgewood Park. You’ll see the crossing at Fisher Rd on to the Ridgewood Trail like below.

Move east on the Ridgewood Trail. Run down the ramp that merges into SoPac and start heading south!

You’ll see a lot of bikes out on the trail. Long distance cyclists (and marathoners) use SoPac to connect to longer trails nearby.

Keep moving on the trail until you make it to the southern end of SoPac where the trail splits into the White Rock Lake and the Santa Fe trails. Head back to your starting point to finish 5 miles.
